NEW KYB COIL SPRING CATALOGUE FOR 2012
KYB has launched its brand new coil spring catalogue for 2012. The comprehensive catalogue features an impressive 143 new to range coil spring references, plus 59 part numbers have been updated to provide additional coverage. This gives a complete range of 2,300 references now available to the European aftermarket.
KYB launched its coil spring range ten years ago and has worked hard on its catalogue, now providing the best car parc coverage in the European aftermarket. Key new applications added for 2012 include: Citroen C4 Picasso; Daewoo Captiva, Matiz; Ford Fiesta VI, Mondeo IV; Kia Ceed; Nissan Qashqai; Peugeot 308, 4007; Renault Laguna III, Twingo; Skoda Fabia II.
KYB is the only aftermarket supplier to offer a choice between both taper wire miniblock OE design and a constant wire alternative spring. Many other spring designs are also on offer including side load springs and a large range of heavy duty applications.
The new catalogue ensures that distributors have excellent coverage with fewer part numbers to choose per application.
Coil springs continue to be a strongly growing product range. Modern vehicles have more demands on them than ever before, requiring unusual spring designs, lower weight and higher stress, which in turn means a shorter working life.
The new coil spring catalogue is available to download as a PDF from the KYB Europe website, as well as being listed on major electronic catalogues such as TecDoc. The coil spring catalogue follows the same easy to use layout and design as the shock absorber catalogue.
KYB recommends that all coil springs are fitted in pairs, to maintain a balanced ride height on the vehicle.
