KYB ESTABLISHES NEW BRANCH IN UKRAINE
KYB has established a new representative office, in Kiev, Ukraine. This brings the total number of branches for KYB Europe to nine.
Ukraine is one of the most promising and dynamic countries in Central and Eastern Europe, with a large existing aftermarket and a strong potential for growth. KYB Europe already has an established network of distributors there and has taken this step to be closer to them, providing better service and communication. The ultimate aim is of course to grow market share.
KYB has appointed Viacheslav Lomeiko as the head of the representative office. He has already worked for KYB in Ukraine for several years. There are two additional members of staff based at the Kiev office. They will further strengthen their marketing support, as well as working on the KYB trademark to ensure only original products are sold in the market.
Hajime Sato, President of KYB Europe, commented: “This is an important move for KYB as part of our long term strategy to be the number one supplier across Europe. It will bring many more opportunities for world class product quality to the Ukrainian aftermarket”.
KYB is the world’s largest supplier of original equipment shock absorbers to manufacturers (OEMs) around the world, including Audi-VW Group, Ford, Mitsubishi, PSA, Renault, BMW, Nissan and Toyota.  A quarter of all new cars leaving production lines worldwide are fitted with KYB shocks as original equipment. In addition to shock absorbers, KYB Europe also supplies a comprehensive range of coil springs and suspension mounting kits to the aftermarket.
